Same for this one; boulder opals in all the "aesthetics" they come in, are extremely addictive to wear! These two were around for at least two months, if I recall correctly, before I finally decided to stop hemming and hawing, and just go for them. I'm glad I did!
This is a whopper! And it looks so much like a Cadbury creme egg, with the particular colours of the opal inside the ironstone matrix. For a while after I got the package these items were in, I could not stop putting this pendant on.
You can see a little bit more of their colour play's range, here. The doublet material on both the ring and the pendant also is so large and dome-shaped, it's like wearing particularly elaborately-patterned playing marbles!
I love Aurora opals, and I just had to get this one and her matching pendant. It doesn't show up much under the lighting in this picture, but they look like they're full of a whole rainbow of cotton candy! Plus, I like that they have what appears to be either a glass or a quartz covering. Aurora doublets for the win!
